our responsibility
Nautech holds the distinction of being the oldest refit yard specializing in luxury superyachts.
With over 2000 successful refit projects under its belt, Nautech has consistently demonstrated its enduring success. Nautech has remained steadfast in its commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and fully understands its responsibilities to future generations and the environment.
“We recognize our responsibility to help protect the planet and our environmental footprint strategy is oriented so as to minimize the impact our company has on the environment and support those who are working to improve global environmental sustainability”, emphasizes Nicolas Bruni, CEO of Nautech.
Our approach to reducing our environmental impact seeks to address greenhouse-gas emissions and waste across our operations, as we strive to continually strengthen our environmental practices. We ensure strict adherence to all relevant environmental laws and regulations, assisting our clients in fulfilling their environmental responsibilities.
A vital aspect of Nautech’s environmental strategy is its waste management process.
The company has consistently avoided overproduction and instituted procedures to minimize waste disposal. Nautech diligently tracks its waste flow to ensure compliance with prevailing legislation, further underscoring its commitment to environmental stewardship.
We are committed to reducing waste across our different sites: we aim to reduce waste generation at the source, promote reuse and recycling, as well as the use of supplies that are recycled and recyclable and whose production and use minimize the consumption of natural resources. For instance, we aim to reduce our consumption of single-use plastics, use environmentally friendly paper, and recycle electronic equipment. We encourage our staff to drive initiatives to reduce waste, including sorting and recycling materials, donating used technology equipment, putting drinking water taps in place and reducing food waste.
